Welcome

When you meet someone new, one of the most interesting questions you can ask is, "What is your passion." This is a question that often takes people by surprise, but gauge your audience and ask away. Some people know exactly what to say, and others flounder. Even if the question comes as a surprise, an answerless person will part contemplating the question, and someone who is so sure of his or her passion, will think about their hopes and dreams for the future, their missed opportunities, their successes and fulfilled life, or their burning desire to follow their passion where ever or when ever they can. Think about it. What is your passion?

I first encountered this question a few years ago. I was in school studying architecture when I had to stop and think about my true passion in life. I can not say that it is architecture, but I can say that my passion is to create. I love to create art, and design. I love painting, building, baking, cooking, and experimenting with all the joys that life provides. In all the work I do, I try to find the passion somewhere in me to make a mundane task interesting. I love the chance to learn. I love all the wonders of nature and of life.

I must admit, when I first answered the passion question, I said "Nature." That answer was true, but underdeveloped. I believe that passions can change and develop through the discoveries of life, but for me, I was only saying part of my passion. I am passionate about nature and everything it holds. I love hikes through the mountains, and fall colors, and winder wonderlands, but I also love vegetable gardens, and wheat fields and those type of man-made cultivations of nature. My passion is still developing and does so with every day I live. I hope to see it develop more, and unfold into something complex, yet delightfully simple.

I have created this blog to represent my goal in life. My goal is to create happiness for others, while perusing my passions. If I could inspire just one person to follow their dream that was lost somewhere in the journey of life, I would be eternally humbled.
